“Well, here we are!” You said with a grin, Your arm around my shoulders.
“Indeed, here we are.” I returned, with a contented look of my own.
“Did you see this coming?” You asked. A sparkle of light shone in Your eyes.
“No!” I laughed, “I sure did not!”
We’ve been evacuated from our property due to natural disaster. Though it came at quite an unfortunate time, a dear friend in town has opened up a spot on their ranch for us, where we are staying in the trailer he grew up using with his family. It’s been a big blessing ?
“I provide, don’t I?” You grinned.
“You do! You always do!” I agreed happily.
“You know,” You said softly, “this is ALWAYS My commitment to you. I intend to evermore provide for you and ensure your time and travel is smooth and enjoyable, lined with My provision and My care.”
I was blessed and unsure of what else to say but “wow.”
You beamed brightly and begin to laugh. “Son! Life trusting Me is beautiful life indeed! A life lived in My provision and My care is worry free! You are to feel Loved, cared for, trusting and not afraid.”
“Mmm, love that Lord. I love that!” I rejoiced.
You patted me on the back and looked into my eyes. “I’ve made you for such a time as this, forged you in adversity, and called you to be Mine alone. You don’t fit man’s system, nor have I meant you too. You are made for Me. I’ve fashioned you to be My son and follow Me. In this place, your need is met by Me, as is your desire. I meet you and I fulfill you,” You grinned grandly.
I let out a long sigh and basked in the peace and joy of this moment.
“Yes Lord, you indeed are my provider and my refuge, the delight of my eyes and the desire of my soul. When I speak with You I feel so alive and at peace,” I shared serenely
“You should,” You replied in love. “I am your All, son. All you need, All you long for, All you could ever dream. In Me you have all things – richly and abundantly.”
